Hastings Swing Bridge

Client: Public Works & Government Services Canada
Location: Hastings, Ontario

The swing bridge was replaced between the months of October 2015 and April 2016.  Despite a very tight schedule for the fabrication and installation of components, the project was completed ahead of schedule.

CP Overhead Bridge HWY 17 – Schreiber

Client: Ministry of Transportation
Location: Schreiber, Ontario

The project consisted of the removal and replacement of the entire bridge superstructure over a live Canadian Pacific rail corridor.  Work was staged to minimize traffic disruptions on the Trans-Canada Highway corridor.

Hunt Club Pedestrian Bridge

Client: City of Ottawa
Location: Ottawa, Ontario

The Hunt Club Pedestrian Bridge is a cable-stayed pedestrian bridge with an orthotropic steel plate deck spanning the Airport Parkway in Ottawa, Ontario. The bridge has a single, cast-in-place curved concrete tower supporting asymmetric spans of 49 meters and 21 meters. The deck is an orthotropic steel plate with wind fairings and tuned mass dampers added for aerodynamic stability.

French River & Shawanaga River Bridge Rehabilitations

Client: Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR)
Location: Parry Sound, Ontario

Concrete bridge pier and abutment rehabilitations were completed with live rail traffic operations overhead.  Repairs were completed from the barge on the French River Structure Access and Shawanaga Bridge repairs were completed through the use of Hi-Rail vehicles to access abutments.

Highway 401 Moulinette Road Underpass

Client: Ministry of Transportation
Location: Highway 401, Long Sault, Ontario

New bridge construction over heavily travelled Highway 401 consisted of a new two span, precast girder structure.  The demolition of the existing bridge was completed over a two day period with minimal traffic disruptions.
